Latest CBSE Syllabus for Class 10 of ICT (Computer Science) 2018-19

CBSE has released the syllabus for Class 10 Information and Communication Technology (Computer science). There is no major change has been made in the syllabus and the pattern and it is same as the previous year. In Board examination, the entire syllabus will come. In the class 9th, CBSE has removed the ICT and there is major chance that this course will be dropped from the next session. However, in this session ICT is present.

The theory paper will be of 40 Marks and Practical will be of 60 Marks. Theory paper will be of 2.5 hours while practical will be of 4 hours.

Practical Work

Design of a Practical Question Paper

Instructions on the basis of syllabus, distribution of marks and conduction of practical examination have been provided.

The examiner is advised to set the question paper according to the prescribed curriculum and distribution of marks.

GIMP 10 marks

(B) IT Application Report File 15 Marks
Students are supposed to make a IT Application Report File Containing Real life
assignments/ presentations using GIMP and Advanced HTML.
• At least 5 Activities related to Advance GIMP
• At least 10 webpages covering the concepts covered such as Tables, Frames, Forms, DHTML and CSS.

(C) Project Work 10 Marks
Developing a website on a topic integrating all the concepts covered using advance GIMP and
advanced HTML.
(D) Viva Voice 5 Marks
