The result of Bihar matriculation is going to take longer as an unprecedented lockout is being done to check the spread of coronovirus throughout the country. Bihar School Examination Board or BSEB, the first education board in the country to release annual exam results, is yet to complete the evaluation process for BSEB 10th result and according to officials, the possibility of releasing Bihar matriculation results very soon The prevalence of coronavirus and subsequent lockdown in the country, including in the state of Bihar, is low.

According to a report published, BSEB Inter results were ready as soon as the evaluation was over. The board completed the examination on 13 February for class 12 students and on 24 February for class 10 students.

An estimated 80.44 percent of the 12,04,834 students passed the Class 12 or Intermediate State Board Examination in Bihar, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.

An official said that as usual, this year the girls beat the boys in the BSEB Intermediate results.

Announcing the results, BSEB President Anand Kishore said that Neha Kumari scored 476 out of 500 and she was the topper of the Bihar Board.

Kausar Fatma and Sudhanshu Narayan Choudhary topped the commerce stream with 95.2 percent, while Sakshi Kumari topped the arts stream with 474 points. Shri Kishore said that this year a total of 80.44 percent students of all three streams- Arts, Commerce and Science passed the Class 12 examination. The pass percentage in 2019 was 79.76, he said.
